Skin Care

Massage therapySkin care focuses on improving cosmetic appearance and the treatment of a variety of conditions, including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins.

Each visit begins with a thorough skin analysis to determine your skin condition and concerns. It will allow the practitioner to create a custom and individualized treatment plan, with recommendations for short and long-term goals.

Treatments

  • Facial:
    • A type of skin care treatment for the face. It is an essential aspect of good skin care
    • Includes, but is not limited to, steam, exfoliation, extraction, creams, lotions, masks, and peels
    • Used for general skin health as well as for specific skin conditions
    • Many types, including European, LED light-therapy, and mini-facials
  • Dermal planing:
    • A cosmetic procedure to exfoliate and gently remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells from the epidermis
    • Most commonly, microdermabrasion uses two parts: an exfoliating material to gently lift up the skin during exfoliation and the removal of the skin cells
  • Chemical peel:
    • A technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the underlying skin
    • Uses a peel solution that penetrates the outer layer of skin and removes the dead skin cells, leading to regeneration of tissue underneath
    • Facial skin is mostly treated, although body and scarring can also be improved
    • Results in smoother, glowing, youthful skin with less visible wrinkled lines
